Scott Mason was born April 3 1986 in Windsor Ontario. Like his brother Curt, Scott began his martial arts training at about the age of 4 1/2. From his very first class until this day, Scott loved every minute of being in the martial arts.

Unlike his older brother Curt, Scott was trained by his father from the very beginning. Scott's love for the arts grew as he grew older and he became very interested in teaching other students. As a colored belt he would always volunteer to do the warm ups for the class. At the age of 8 he was tested and promoted to Assistant Black Belt. One year later he would again test, this time for his 1st Degree Black Belt. He participated eagerly in Tournaments, but his great love was doing demonstrations out in the real world.

In 1999 Scott was tested and promoted to 2nd Dan Black Belt, he would follow this in 2001 with his 3rd Dan, then finally in 2004 for his 4th Dan (Degree) Black Belt and the title of Master. He was tested and promoted to 5th Dan Black Belt in May 2009.

Scott's passion for the arts caused him to create and teach a short stick program for the kids in the Belle River School back in 2003. In 2004 Scott took over this location as the Head Instructor. Currently Scott is the Head Instructor for our Juniors Program in Windsor.

At present Scott spends much of his time with the study of the art of Kyusho Jitsu[[1]]]] He was recently tested and promoted to 2nd Dan Black Belt by Grand Master Steve Stewart [[2]]

Master Scott Mason has played a major role in the development of our art and Art Mason's Peaceful Warriors' Martial Arts Institute[[3]]. After take a 3 month sabbatical from teach to start his own business, e-mayham[[4]], Master Scott returned to become the owner/operator or our Puce/Lakeshore School[[5]].

Tournament Days

Sadly there are not very many pictures available of Scott during his tournament years. At the right this was a tournament in the mid 90's sometime, in the USA. Scott is pictured here at 1st Dan Black Belt with his sister Lisa, at Assistant Black Belt. Scott loved going to tournament. He did not get to compete in as many as he wanted to. This was due to the martial arts politics of the time.

Scott currently travels to London 6 times per year to work directly with Grand Master Stewart. He already working towards his 3rd Dan in Kyusho and is looking forward to the chance to test for his masters level.

Being able to work with an martial arts master like Leon Jay is always a privilege. Leon Jay's father Professor Wally Jay founded the art of Small Circle Jujitsu and was also a close friend of the legendary Bruce Lee.

Pictured to the left, Scott with Dan "The Beast" Severn from the CMATC in London in 2005. Scott greatly enjoyed working with Mr Severn. He commented later on how soft spoken The Beast was, and how amazing his teaching abilities are. Dan Severn is world renown for his UFC and Wrestling days. He is also a school teacher and tours the world doing seminars.

Scott's demonstrations are always a crowd favorite!

Scott Mason runs a video game website called e-mayham.com, mayham is spelled wrong on purpose because e-mayhem was already taken. Scott started e-mayham.com back in July 09 and began producing original shows like Daily News and Gaming With Scott. He also has an interest in developing video games, he is always working on some sort of project. e-mayham has gone through several trials, and is still going strong. On May 21st 2010 Scott made the choice to indefinitely cancel Daily News so he could work on producing other shows.
